Returns Policy


Original Artwork

Due to the bespoke nature and high value of original artworks, we do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the artwork is damaged upon arrival or significantly not as described. (In the event of framing damage, repairs will be carried out or a full frame replacement will be provided.)

All original artworks purchased directly at the gallery are sold as final and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the sale is completed. This includes items that have not yet been collected or delivered.

If your artwork arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 24 hours at sales@ashbees100.co.uk or 07971989178, including clear photographs of the damage and the packaging. We will assess the issue and offer a replacement (if available), repair, or full refund as appropriate.

Limited Edition Prints and Reproductions

Returns or exchanges for limited edition prints or reproductions are accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Custom or Commissioned Works

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for custom or commissioned artworks, except in the event of damage or a significant error on our part.

General Conditions

  • All returns must be pre-authorised by us via email or phone.

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging and in the condition they were received.

  • We recommend using a tracked and insured service for returning artwork.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

Collection of Artworks and Storage

Artworks must be collected from the Gallery within fifteen (15) working days of notification that the work is ready for collection, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Gallery.

Clients and consignees are responsible for ensuring that the Gallery has up-to-date contact details and that they are able to receive and review all communications from the Gallery, including email correspondence. Notification shall be deemed to have been given when sent to the contact details provided.

If an artwork is not collected within the fifteen (15) working day period, the Gallery will endeavour to make reasonable efforts to contact the client or consignee. Storage charges will apply from the sixteenth (16th) working day onwards.

Storage will be charged at a rate of £10.00 per day plus VAT, payable by the client or consignee. Any outstanding storage charges must be settled in full prior to the release of the artwork.

Where an artwork remains uncollected for an extended period and storage charges accrue to an amount equal to or exceeding the value of the artwork, the Gallery reserves the right, following reasonable notice, to treat the artwork as abandoned. In such circumstances, ownership may transfer to the Gallery, and the Gallery may sell or otherwise dispose of the artwork in order to recover reasonable costs incurred.

Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
